Shipping and returns

The shipment of your package

Packages are generally sent within 2 working days of receiving payment and are shipped via Express Box with tracking. Whichever type of shipping you choose, we will provide you with a link to track your package online. If you need a delivery with special arrangements, please write to info@masseriamonte.com before completing your order: we will check whether it is possible and what extra cost it involves.

Shipping costs cover packaging and transport and depend only on the total weight of the shipment and on the destination area: there are no additional handling charges. We advise you to group your items in a single order: it is not possible for us to group two distinct orders placed separately, therefore shipping costs will be charged for each of them. The boxes are adequately large in size and your items are well protected; particular attention is paid to fragile items such as oil and wine bottles.

Areas served and delivery times

  • Italy: delivery expected within 24 to 48 working hours from dispatch.
  • Europe: delivery expected within 3 to 5 working days from dispatch, in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
  • The times shown are those expected from the courier and do not include the 2 working days needed to prepare the order. In any case delivery takes place within a maximum of thirty days from the confirmation of the order, as set out in the Terms and conditions of sale.
  • Deliveries are made to the address given at the time of purchase. If delivery fails, the parcel is held at the courier's depot and you will receive a notice with instructions to arrange a new delivery.
  • Alcoholic beverages are delivered to adults only: the courier may ask for an identity document on delivery.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you place the order, on the basis of the total weight and of the destination, and are always shown explicitly in the cart before the order is confirmed. There is no free-shipping threshold. As a guide:

  • Italy: €15 up to 9.99 kg; €21 from 10 to 19.99 kg; €25 from 20 to 29.99 kg; €28 from 30 to 39.99 kg; €32 from 40 to 49.99 kg; €37 from 50 to 69.99 kg; €45 from 70 to 99.99 kg; €55 from 100 to 150 kg.
  • Europe, group 1 (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain): €25 up to 0.99 kg; €30 from 1 to 4.99 kg; €40 from 5 to 9.99 kg; €50 from 10 to 19.99 kg; €55 from 20 to 29.99 kg; €65 from 30 to 39.99 kg; €70 from 40 to 49.99 kg.
  • Europe, group 2 (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland): €30 up to 0.99 kg; €40 from 1 to 4.99 kg; €50 from 5 to 9.99 kg; €60 from 10 to 19.99 kg; €70 from 20 to 29.99 kg; €85 from 30 to 39.99 kg; €100 from 40 to 49.99 kg.
  • Above the last band (150 kg for Italy, 49.99 kg for Europe) the highest band rate applies: for such large shipments please write to us before ordering.

Shipping to the United Kingdom is temporarily suspended. The country cannot be selected as a delivery destination.

Switzerland is outside the European Union: shipments may be subject to customs duties, import VAT and clearance charges payable by the recipient, which are not included in shop prices. For Switzerland, the shop does not charge Italian VAT (export sale): prices update when you enter the delivery address.

Returns and withdrawal

If you bought as a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the products, without giving a reason, by writing to info@masseriamonte.com with your order number and name, or by opening a case in your customer area. The full conditions, the exceptions provided by law and the refund arrangements are set out in the Terms and conditions of sale.

Adequate packaging is recommended; the original packaging and the sending of the tax documentation are not mandatory conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal. The cost of returning the goods is borne by you, except for faulty or non-conforming products, for which return costs are borne by us.

Return address: Masseria Monte di Ricupero Francesco, Contrada Fascianello, 48 – 72015 Fasano (BR), Puglia, Italy. Please let us know before sending the goods back, so that we can agree on the collection times.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to food products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, nor to sealed packages that have been opened after delivery, for reasons of hygiene and health protection (Article 59(1)(d) and (e) of the Italian Consumer Code).

If the parcel arrives damaged

Please check the condition of the parcel on delivery. If the packaging is visibly damaged, accept it with a written reservation on the courier's document and let us know within 8 days of delivery by writing to info@masseriamonte.com, if possible with a few photographs of the parcel and of its contents: we will handle the claim with the carrier. This time limit concerns only the claim for transport damage and does not affect your right of withdrawal or the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity.
